1931 Bethany Daisy: Pages 1-11

This is part of my series on the 1931 Bethany yearbook owned by my great grandma Frances Elsie Caroline Gustafson. These first 11 pages are mainly historical pictures of the scenery at Bethany and tributes to Birger Sandzen.

DEDICATION
To DR. BIRGER SANDZEN, as a renowned
artist whose works will always be remembered
and cherished, as a teacher who carefully guides
his pupils, and as a man, who, by his friendli-
ness and kindness, has won a warm place in
the hearts of all students, we dedicate this book.

BIRGER SANDZEN

PROLOGUE
THE STUDENTS at Bethany have
painted a picture. It is vibrantly
alive with the glory of conquests,
with rollicking fun and laughter,
and with hours of more serious
thought and study. The picture
is completed and is exhibited on
the following pages of this book.
